I thoght long and hard about where I should get inspiration for a cool cat walk and I came up with the Dodger from Oliver and Company. I know he is a dog but he is a quadraped and all the other dogs think he's cool and during the song 'Why should I worry' He really comes across as cool so Dodger is my inspiration for the first scene of my animation :)
If you look at this video at 1.28 in you will see his 'cool' walk. He sort of bobs as he walks and has his eyes closed. He also holds for a split second longer when he lifts a leg fully up. I think I will try doing the same or something similar at least.
